AI & Security · AI Security
Secure AI developer spaces, AI on the workstation and AI in the browser, built on the Citrix platform and run by Altanora. Let your people and AI agents move fast while code, data and prompts stay under your control.
AI security is the set of controls that decides where AI tools and AI agents can run, what data they can reach and what they can do with it. AI now shows up in three places: developer environments, where coding assistants and agents read and write source code; the workstation, where desktop AI apps sit next to sensitive files; and the browser, where employees paste data into AI prompts and agents act inside web apps. Each needs its own guardrails.
Altanora secures all three with the Citrix platform: Citrix SecurSpaces for AI developer spaces, Citrix DaaS, deviceTRUST and Experience Insights for the workstation, Citrix SecurAccess with Chrome Enterprise for the browser, and NetScaler AI Gateway to govern traffic to large language models (LLMs) and MCP servers. Whatever permissions a worker has, an AI agent acting for them has too, so we treat AI as part of the workspace, not as a separate tool.
Capabilities depend on the Citrix services licensed. Citrix Session Insights for SecurAccess with Chrome Enterprise is expected to be available in October 2026, per Citrix.
One Citrix platform, three sets of guardrails, managed by one team.
Cloud-hosted, sandboxed developer and agentic workspaces with Citrix SecurSpaces. Coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Windsurf, and AI coding agents, run inside the workspace, so source code never lands on a laptop. Secure AI Development.
Run AI-enabled desktops and apps in Citrix DaaS, so files, prompts and model outputs stay in your data center or cloud. GPU virtual workstations with NVIDIA vGPU handle heavier AI work. GPU & AI Workspaces.
Citrix SecurAccess with Chrome Enterprise applies DLP to copy and paste, uploads and downloads, including AI prompts, blocks personal accounts on corporate apps and controls browser extensions.
Citrix Session Insights records browser sessions for users and autonomous AI agents, flags risky behavior and shows whether an agent had more authority than the task required.
NetScaler AI Gateway and MCP Gateway capabilities add token rate limiting, prompt management, PII masking, OWASP LLM threat protection and allow lists for approved MCP servers.
Citrix Experience Insights (formerly uberAgent) and NetScaler AI metrics show which AI tools are used, by whom and how much, with data for your SIEM and auditors.
The risk in each place, the Citrix tools we use and what Altanora does.
| Main risk | Citrix tools | What Altanora does | |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI developer spaces | Source code, secrets and credentials exposed to AI assistants and agents on laptops | Citrix SecurSpaces and SecurSpaces Flex, AI gateway routing, GPU compute profiles | Design and deploy sandboxed developer and agentic workspaces, onboard teams and set DLP and egress policies |
| AI on the workstation | Desktop AI apps reading local files and moving data off the device | Citrix DaaS and DaaS Flex, HDX policies, deviceTRUST, Experience Insights, NVIDIA vGPU | Host AI-enabled desktops and apps, lock down clipboard and drives, enforce device posture and monitor usage |
| AI in the browser | Sensitive data pasted into AI prompts; AI agents acting in web apps without oversight | Citrix SecurAccess with Chrome Enterprise, Session Insights, SecurAccess ZTNA | Roll out browser DLP and extension control, block personal accounts and review user and agent sessions |
| AI traffic and agents | Uncontrolled LLM spend, prompt injection, PII in prompts and unapproved MCP servers | NetScaler AI Gateway, MCP Gateway capabilities, NetScaler Console | Route and rate-limit LLM traffic, mask PII, allow only approved models and MCP servers and report usage |
A practical path from discovery to day-to-day operations.
Find where AI tools and agents are used today, across developers, desktops and browsers.
Choose the Citrix controls and policies for each place AI runs, mapped to your compliance needs.
Roll out SecurSpaces, DaaS, browser and NetScaler policies in phases, starting with the riskiest teams.
Monitor usage, review sessions and tune policies as AI tools and agents change.
From Our Clients
“Over the years, Altanora has proven to be an exceptionally dedicated and knowledgeable partner. Their collaboration made it possible to build and operate what we believe to be the best SOC 2 Type II Desktop as a Service solution available worldwide.”Asma Shaikh, Director of Cloud Infrastructure
Founded in 2006, Altanora designs, secures and manages Citrix environments for 250+ clients from offices in Fort Lauderdale and Montreal.
One of the first North American partners authorized to deliver Citrix SecurSpaces, and the 2026 Citrix Evangelist Partner of the Year.
We map where AI is used today, design the controls, deploy them and manage them day to day, or alongside your team.

The controls that decide where AI tools and agents can run, what data they can reach and what they can do. It covers developer environments, the workstation, the browser and traffic to LLMs and MCP servers.
With Citrix SecurSpaces, developers and AI coding agents work in sandboxed, cloud-hosted workspaces with native DLP and controlled ingress and egress, so source code and secrets stay off endpoints. AI traffic from workspaces can be routed through a central AI gateway.
SecurSpaces supports cloud IDEs and desktop tools such as VS Code, JetBrains Gateway, Cursor and Windsurf, with assistants such as GitHub Copilot. GPU-enabled workspaces are available for AI and ML engineers.
We run AI-enabled apps and desktops in Citrix DaaS so data and model outputs stay in your environment, apply clipboard, drive and printing policies, and use deviceTRUST to allow access only from trusted devices and contexts.
Yes. Citrix SecurAccess with Chrome Enterprise applies DLP at the browser level, including copy and paste, uploads and downloads, and can block personal accounts on corporate apps.
Citrix Session Insights, expected in October 2026, records browser sessions for users and autonomous agents, highlights risky moments and helps you review whether an agent had more authority than it needed.
A NetScaler capability that sits between your apps and LLMs. It adds token-based rate limiting, load balancing across models, prompt management, PII masking and LLM threat protection. MCP Gateway capabilities add control over AI agent tool access.
It depends on what you own. NetScaler MCP Gateway and AI Gateway governance features are included at no extra cost for Citrix Platform License and Universal Hybrid Multi-Cloud customers. We review your entitlements during the assessment.
