Security and IAM Analyst

The role of a Security and IAM Analyst is to ensure the effective and secure management of identities and access within the organization. This includes analyzing existing processes, performing controls and audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending improvements. The analyst works closely with IT teams and stakeholders to optimize compliance practices, strengthen security, and support users’ access needs, all within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct fully documented, evidence-based analyses related to identity and access management (IAM) activities.
  • Perform and analyze the results of controls and control testing within IAM processes.
  • Participate in audit activities (producing evidence and reports, attending clarification meetings) with other IAM stakeholders and team members.
  • Understand, analyze, document, and support partners/users in clarifying their needs while ensuring service quality.
  • Provide professional opinions and pragmatic recommendations in alignment with established standards, rules, guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Review data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and root causes of various issues.
  • Actively contribute to resolving operational problems and propose solutions to improve processes and practices.
  • Actively participate in all team activities (ceremony preparation, Definition of Done, etc.). 


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience in compliance and IAM.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of IAM principles.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Agile principles and ability to apply them effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong skills in analysis, processing, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and simplification skills in both English and French.
  • Ability to maintain healthy working relationships with stakeholders across various departments and hierarchical levels.
  • Enjoy and promote engagement with internal partners/users.
